The advanced recovery circuit uniquely utilizes our high selectivity filtration system to recover minerals in one pass. Unlike traditional solvent extraction systems needing multiple steps, only water is is cycled back during processing, while producing pure grade products at 99% recovery.
Given today's feedstock complexities and high demand, we developed a robust, adaptable system that delivers exceptional performance regardless of feed type or condition.
Mineral processing traditionally involves smelting at 1600°C and/or hydrometallurgy via solvent extraction, both facing recovery and waste challenges. We have innovated the process to eliminate smelting and reduce solvent volumes.
One of the most exciting component of our process is the production flexibility at both ends. in addition to being able to process variety of feedsources regardless of the mineral ratio and other typically limiting factors, we are also flexible on the products we produce. Depending on your needs, can make salt forms or in some mineral cases, metal form.

The urban mine, an attractive rich mineral source from end-of-life batteries, presents recovery challenges due to technology limitations. Lab 4's technology can process these materials to recover 99% pure minerals.
Lab 4’s initial focus was on clean, economical mineral processing technology and engineering. As global mining intensifies, there is a growing need for efficient processing. Our expertise enables us to integrate this knowledge, expanding our facility's input to primary mine ores.
Tailings are the byproducts of mining, often too uneconomical for processing. Lab 4's flexible feed source enables us to use these tailings, extracting target minerals and addressing waste issues.

Depending on the end user applications, different prodcut forms are required, we provide further value by ensuring our capacity to produce metals of Copper, Manganese, Nickel, Cobalt.
Our adaptive process presents the capacity to produce high-quality mineral salts in the chloride, sulfates, or carbonates form.
